A place said to have been the historical residence of the Mise clan, vassals of the Kitabatake clan and influential figures in the area. Located at a beak-shaped point where the Otani River joins the main Miyagawa River, with cliffs on three sides - south, west, and north - making it a strategic location. The fort is surrounded by a 3m-high earthen rampart, with an old well still remaining as a reminder of the past. It was designated as a Mie Prefectural Historic Site in 1975. In spring, you can see beautiful cherry blossoms.
