Yoshinoyama is a nationally famous cherry blossom spot. From early to mid-April, an estimated 30,000 Shiroyama cherry trees bloom magnificently. Yoshinoyama's cherry trees, deeply tied to mountain worship as sacred cherry trees, are carefully protected and bloom every year. During the cherry blossom season, light-ups are held at Kami-Senbon and Shimo-Senbon. Go and admire what is said to be Japan's finest cherry blossoms. *Due to traffic restrictions in the Yoshinoyama area during the cherry blossom viewing season, routes, the number of services, and paths may change.
