About 50 Higan-cherry-type weeping cherry trees bloom magnificently. Among them, the Shosho Cherry, over 250 years old, was a beloved cherry tree of Sakai Awanokami, the lord of Maebashi Castle in the Kyoho era, and still produces flowers today (with early and late blooming varieties). Come feel the arrival of spring.
