The Stream Koinobori, a seasonal springtime tradition now in its 40th year. This is a season when cherry blossoms are in full bloom and fresh green spring foliage (haru-momiji) is budding. About 400 colorful koinobori (carp streamers) provided by local families dance gracefully throughout the hot spring town, heightening the spring mood. You can enjoy the distinctive spring of this area, including spring skiing at Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort as well as cherry blossoms and koinobori in the hot spring town.
