As the name 'Thousand Cherry Trees' suggests, the mountainside is dyed cherry pink with many cherry trees, bustling with many hanami visitors. The 100th Anniversary Tower has an observation deck where you can take in the Saga Plain and view distant Unzen-Fugendake. A recommended spot where you can enjoy both the view from the observation deck and the cherry blossoms. Additionally, during the period at night, cherry blossom illumination is held from the parking lot of the Memorial Tower to the observation deck.
