Maruoka Castle is designated as a national important cultural property. In spring, Yoshino cherry blossoms bloom beautifully, and it has also been selected as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom places. Every year in line with the full bloom period, the Maruoka Castle Sakura Festival is held, and the night cherry blossoms reflected by about 300 bonbori and the illuminated Maruoka Castle create an indescribably fantastical scene. At night, you can also enjoy projection mapping onto the Maruoka Castle keep.
