Soma Nakamura Shrine has been revered as the tutelary deity of the Soma family for generations and stands as the chief guardian of the Soma region on a small hill west of Nakamura Castle. In spring, cherry blossoms come into full bloom along the shrine's approach. Stroll leisurely while taking wonderful photos under the cherry blossom-lined path. During this limited period, you can receive a special 'Sakura Mode' goshuin (shrine seal) at Soma Nakamura Shrine, Suzugaoka Hachiman Shrine, and Soma Shrine.
