Takami no Sato, located at an altitude of about 650 meters in the mountains of Higashi-Yoshino Village, Nara Prefecture, is a garden composed only of weeping cherries, rare even nationally, where about 1,000 flowers cover the mountain slopes in spring. Since blooming is later than in central Nara City, reaching its best viewing in mid April, many people visit as the closing of cherry blossom season. The grounds are equipped with shuttle vehicles, allowing easy strolling even in terrain with continuous slopes, and you can enjoy hanami leisurely in the clear air.
