An annual event every May, the Seichihara New Tea Festival. Seichihara is a water-rich highland with relatively high rainfall and cool climate — ideal for growing high-quality tea with rich flavor and mellow taste. Come enjoy the refreshing aroma of freshly picked new tea. Various food stalls line up, and on the 30th (Saturday), the local specialty Jigemmon Nabe hot pot will be served as a treat.
