The cherry blossom festival is held at three venues: 'Higashi-Uwayama Venue' with 2,500 wild cherry trees in bloom and food stalls; 'Nishi-Uwayama Venue' with highlights like waterfalls and giant cedars, where Sanbe soba noodles are served; and 'Observation Plaza Venue,' the only spot from which all peaks of Mt. Sanbe can be seen. Processed local products and traditional cuisine are available. A Sanbe Sakura Village Walk is also held on the day. During the Cherry Blossom Week (Apr 12-19), those who bring the festival flyer can receive benefits at 13 shops around Sanbe.
