Designated as a prefectural intangible folk cultural property, the main attraction is the magnificent hikiyama floats, with the powerful Minakuchi bayashi music enhancing the festive spirit. On the 19th (Eve Festival), mikoshi are raised at Minakuchi Shrine and floats are decorated with lanterns for evening music. On the 20th (Grand Festival), floats depart from each district and converge at the shrine for the procession.
