About 520 cherry trees of approximately 140 varieties are planted in the garden, allowing you to enjoy cherry blossoms for over a month from late March to late April. The 300-meter-long tunnel of Somei Yoshino cherry trees is spectacular, with breathtaking views against the backdrop of the snowy Northern Alps. During the 4-day '15th Cherry Blossom Festival' (April 3 (Fri) - 6 (Mon), 2026) held to coincide with the full bloom, you can view the Somei Yoshino illuminated at night.
