Kamishiiba Dam, certified as one of the 100 Best Dam Lakes, is also designated as part of Kyushu Central Mountain Range Quasi-National Park, surrounded by abundant water and rich nature. At Megamizo Park, located on the hill overlooking the Kamishiiba Dam, you can observe cherry blossoms in full bloom. From there, you can also view the cherry blossoms of Shiiba Junior High School on the opposite shore, making it a great photo spot.
