An old Edohigan cherry tree about 500 years old, 21m tall, with a base circumference of 6m, designated as a prefectural natural monument. The base of the calyx tube swells into a spherical shape, and when viewed from the side, it resembles a gourd, hence the name 'Hyotan-zakura'. During the season, it gets very crowded, so please cooperate with one-way traffic.
