Located near Awara Onsen Station in Fukui Prefecture, this farm is certified as an Eco-Farmer by the prefecture. While focusing on fertilizers and cultivation, they grow strawberries, melons, and watermelons in the hilly area of Awara City in northern Fukui Prefecture. Every year, from mid-February to early June, strawberry picking can be enjoyed. The varieties are three: Akihime, Benihoppe, and Yotsuboshi. They are particular about soil preparation, and you can enjoy strawberries grown in cedar bark medium that boast sweetness. Because they use elevated cultivation, even small children can easily pick them.
