An approximately 400-year-old Edo-higan cherry tree in Iwahara, located south of Lake Kurashima formed by the Kurashima Dam in Iinan Town, on the border of Shimane and Hiroshima Prefectures. Trunk circumference: 4.9 m; tree height: 16 m. Designated as a Town Natural Monument, it is beloved by local residents.
