The Kurihama Flower World Poppy & Nemophila Festival runs from Saturday, April 11 to Sunday, May 31, 2026. Iceland poppies in the seasonal flower bed bloom first, followed by the opening of the Shirley poppy garden with 1 million Shirley poppies from Saturday, April 11. In the herb garden, 1 million nemophila flowers carpet the ground from the entrance up to the sky garden at the center. Various events are scheduled throughout the festival; decorative koinobori carp streamers will grace the poppy garden from late April to mid-May.
