Hamada City Misumi-cho, where the Ishimasa Art Museum is located, is also a hometown of flowers where you can see early-spring-announcing plum forests and 50,000 azaleas, including the 'Misumi Otaira-zakura,' said to be among the top five oldest cherry trees in Japan. An exhibition matched to spring in such nature-rich Iwami region. Works related to spring submitted by the general public, such as paintings, photographs, and three-dimensional works, will be exhibited.
