The view from the observatory is splendid, with panoramic views of the Itsukinada, Geiyo Islands, Hiuchinada, and Shimanami Kaido. It is particularly an excellent spot to view the illuminated Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge. Also known as a cherry blossom spot in spring. "Tonomine Cherry Promenade" is a beautiful cherry-lined path.
