At Omonomi Park, the former castle ruins of the Maesawa Castle lord, about 200 cherry trees including Yoshino bloom magnificently every year, and many people come to feel the arrival of spring. A characteristic is that it is on a hill about 100m higher in elevation than the urban area, so blooming is slightly later than other spots. The cherry tree avenue blooming as if covering the winding slope road to the park is a must-see.
