The cherry blossoms at Marugame Castle bloom every year from late March to early April, creating an elegant scene different from the usual castle. During the cherry blossom festival, Tsugaru shamisen player Shigehiro Tsutsui will perform live at Marugame Castle (around the Otemon Gate and Urushi Grove). Ring toss, hula hoop and other games are 100 yen each, with a 50 yen discount when showing your same-day castle tower admission ticket. A spring market selling fresh vegetables, hanami bento, sweets, coffee and more will also be held. Enjoy a spring day at Marugame Castle with cherry blossoms.
