The Former Saito Family Villa will hold its annual exhibition 'Hina Matsuri' again this year. The exhibition displays hina dolls from various eras and styles, including early Showa-era hina dolls passed down in the Suzuki family, who ran the shipping agent 'Maseya' in Niigata during the Edo period, Kyoho-bina dolls passed down in the Watanabe family, landowners of Oyama Obuti in Konan Ward, and a diverse array of hina dolls owned by Shin Sato, a Furumachi geisha active in the Meiji period. Be sure to visit while you have the chance.
