About 70 weeping cherry trees are planted, mainly from Niomon Gate to the Daikodo area, and during the full bloom period, the temple grounds are colored in indescribable cherry blossom colors. During the period, they are illuminated, allowing you to enjoy the magical beauty different from daytime cherry blossoms. On weekend nights during the period, fire pits are set up and 'Bonfire Cafe' is held where you can enjoy coffee, sweet sake, gohei mochi, and more around the bonfire. *The illumination period may change depending on the blooming conditions.
