Garyu Park, selected as one of the 100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan, has about 160 cherry trees around the pond and about 600 cherry trees throughout the park surroundings blooming in profusion. The cherry blossom blizzard falling on the pond and night cherry blossoms reflected on the water surface are magical. Suzaka City Zoo within the park can be enjoyed by families.
