Three portable shrines (mikoshi) proceed to Otabi Shrine enshrined in Tarui Town Fuchu. Along the way, a scaffold called Jabiyama is assembled at the festival ground Ichibano, and as the mikoshi passes and pauses, the serpent head is vigorously shaken up, down, and side to side with its mouth opening and closing. After the mikoshi returns, children selected that year perform three types of dance called Kanko-mai alternately on festival floats (danjiri) connected in front of Jabiyama.
