Enakyo was formed when the Kiso River was dammed about 100 years ago by Oi Dam, creating a lake where you can enjoy strange rocks and curious stones on both banks by sightseeing boat. Famous as an autumn foliage spot, in spring about 200 cherry trees at Sazanami Plaza, as well as azaleas and wisteria, bloom beautifully.
