Shiroyama Park is located on the hills on the south side of Tateyama city, and this place was once the castle of the Satomi clan, a warlord of the Sengoku period. Currently it is maintained as a park, and within the park, flowering trees such as camellias, plums, cherries, and azaleas fill the small paths, blooming magnificently according to the season. In the plum grove, there are about 150 plum trees including Yae Kankobai (blooms from early January), Hibai, Tama Botan, and Musashino, and in the entire park, about 200 trees including red plums and white plums compete in bloom.
