Amida Nyorai, the lord of the Western Pure Land, has long been the object of people's faith, and paintings and sculptures depicting his image have been actively produced. This exhibition introduces various forms of Amida Nyorai statues from masterpieces of Buddhist art handed down in Fukui Prefecture, including the Kanzeon-henso Mandala (owned by Saifuku-ji Temple, an Important Cultural Property).
