On a 1-hectare area, about 200 "Yoshun" trees—a variant of Yoshino cherry—are planted. It is a rare variety, also designated as a natural monument of Saijo City Tanbara Town. At full bloom, branches overlap, creating a dome-shaped landscape, so it's also called "Cherry Dome," and many people take photos.
