Said to be about 300 years old, this weeping cherry shows magnificent branches and is said to be located at the residence site of Goto Matabei, a Sengoku warlord who fought at the Summer Siege of Osaka. Locally, it has been beloved as 'Matabei Sakura.' Peach blossoms also happen to bloom in the background, and in recent years, during the peak full bloom period, it bustles with photographers and tourists.
