Yamato Koriyama City is in the spotlight thanks to the NHK Taiga drama 'Toyotomi Brothers!'. At the Castle Festival held at the historic site 'Koriyama Castle Ruins' with about 600 cherry trees, about 400 bonbori light up the area around the castle ruins (18:00-21:00), and it is loved as a spot to enjoy night cherry blossoms. The festival features goldfish exhibitions, period processions, white fox processions, and concerts held on different days. At a cherry blossom famous spot selected as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom places, feel the arrival of spring while viewing magnificent cherry blossoms.
