Daizenji is the 19th temple of the Inaba Yakushi pilgrimage. It is said to have been opened by Bun'o Osho around the Keicho (or Bunroku) era. During the clan period, it was a clan prayer hall, and it is said that when the lord traveled in alternate attendance, he would dismount when he came to where the temple was visible. The weeping cherry of over 100 years old in the precincts blooms beautiful flowers every year, delighting people's eyes.
