About 1,600 Somei Yoshino cherry trees bloom in profusion along the paths and slopes on the south bank of Odo Dam, delighting visitors. The contrast with the lake surface and the green of the tea fields is striking, making it a popular spot for scenic drives. Nearby, there are also the weeping cherry trees of Nakagoe-ke and Ichikawa-ke, and the hyotan-zakura in the Sakura district, so be sure to enjoy them as well.
