Located on a 51-meter-high hill west of the Hii River with a panoramic view of the Izumo Plain, Ichinotani Park has a total area of approximately 166,000 square meters. With tennis courts, archery range, and other facilities, from the observatory you can view Izumo City and the Kitayama mountain range of the Shimane Peninsula. Famous as a cherry blossom spot, many Yoshino cherries bloom in profusion in spring.
