Located at the foot of Mt. Kakuda in Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, Uwasekigata Park is a natural park that becomes lively all at once in spring, where about 450 Yoshino cherry trees and other cherries bloom together with about 2 hectares of rape blossoms, allowing visitors to enjoy a deep landscape together with Mt. Kakuda visible across the lake. The park is spacious and open, and the appeal is that walking and photography can be done in a relatively calm atmosphere on weekdays.
