Shogawa Mizu Memorial Park in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture, is a complex of facilities where visitors can experience and learn about the traditional crafts and culture of the Shogawa River. The park has 18 varieties of cherry trees, including familiar Yoshino cherries and the very rare Edohigan on the Sea of Japan side. The peak viewing time is expected to be from early to mid-April, attracting many visitors who come to see the cherry trees blooming along the river.
