A lake with a 3 km circumference, beloved as a place of relaxation for citizens. With a walking path lined with cherry trees, you can enjoy walking and jogging, and also cycle with shared bikes under the competing cherry blossoms. You can also rent a boat from the lakeside boat rental shop and slowly enjoy the cherry blossoms from the water. Relaxing at nearby 'Kobun cafe' is also recommended. The 'Mito Cherry Blossom Festival' is also held to coincide with the peak viewing time.
