A walking event held since 2001 to pass on to future generations the achievements and history of Nitobe Den and others who developed the Inaoi River water system and opened up the Sanbongi-hara plateau — the foundation of Towada City's development. Participants can choose from three courses: 20 km (Towada City pioneering history course), 14 km (Inaoi River and cherry blossoms nature trail), or 5 km (Inaoi River pioneer town course). Walk along the banks of the Inaoi River, where cherry blossoms scatter in the breeze, following in the footsteps of those who shaped the land. Registration period: March 16 – April 12.
