Hamadera Park is famous for its beautiful pine grove, selected as one of the "100 Best Pine Trees of Japan." From late January, Jugatsu-zakura blooms near the south of the fountain; from mid-February, Kawazu-zakura blooms at the east of the event plaza and south of the fountain; from mid-March, Yokou-zakura blooms near the rose garden station; from late March, Somei Yoshino blooms on the Cherry Blossom Road in the central part of the park, Oshima-zakura in the Seaside Senboku Green Space; from early April, Yae-zakura blooms east of the pool. It is a famous spot where you can enjoy many cherry blossoms. You can enjoy cherry blossoms for about 3 months.
