The prefecture's largest fire festival, where a total of 200 warriors march through Tachibana Park in full bloom with cherry blossoms, holding torches. Based on historical facts from over 400 years ago, it reproduces a heroic and mysterious historical picture scroll. It expresses the Shimazu intercepting the Ryuzoji who landed on the Shimabara Peninsula. The farewell of Chijiwa Yamato no Kami and his eldest son Sumikazu (Chijiwa Miguel), and the figures of struggling chief retainers, unfold on a grand scale on the spring night stage.
