A famous cherry blossom spot on a hill overlooking the Shimanto River, Japan's last clear stream, and the city of Nakamura, the Little Kyoto laid out in a grid pattern. Usually in late March, about 500 Yoshino cherry trees planted in the park bloom, announcing the arrival of spring. Additionally, the Shimanto City Folk Museum within the park was renewed and reopened in 2019, where you can learn about Shimanto's history and culture.
