Most of the grounds of Kanasaki Shrine are the former site of Kanegasaki Castle, and it is currently a city park serving as a place of relaxation for people. During the peak cherry blossom season on the grounds, you can enjoy the Hanakae Festival, where men and women viewing cherry blossoms call out 'Let's exchange flowers' and exchange small cherry tree branches with each other to convey their feelings. It will be held from March 27 (Fri) to April 7 (Tue) in 2026.
