Yudai Iikawa has created works that make use of the characteristics of a space and, through viewer intervention and the contingency of the site, generate new landscapes and unexpected events. Focusing on experiences that cannot be shared with others and the thoughts and confusion involved in trying to convey an impulse that something is welling up, he places importance on the moment when viewers notice something at their own timing. This exhibition comprehensively introduces new installations created for the Art Tower Mito that involve viewers, as well as drawings, photographic and video works.
