Located at the southern tip of Mt. Tosshozan at an elevation of 220 meters, Otokoyama Natural Park is a nature-rich park spanning approximately 320,000 square meters. Within its vast grounds lies Hokkaido's largest wild dogtooth violet (katakuri) habitat, where the flowers carpet the hillsides as the snow melts. Katakuri blooms begin from around early April, reaching full bloom from mid to late April, with late-blooming slopes at their peak by the end of April. Beyond katakuri, visitors can enjoy Ezo-engosakua, anemone, and pheasant's eye flowers.
