Nitta Shrine is located at the summit of Mt. Kameyama (about 70 m high) in the Satsumasendai urban area, enshrining Ninigi-no-Mikoto. About 300 cherry trees can be enjoyed. Usually, a cherry blossom festival and illumination are also held to coincide with the peak viewing season.
