Tomoyuki Kurachi is an artist who grew up in a visual culture where creating and sharing videos is commonplace. In Kurachi's works, he himself takes on the lead role and direction, and scenes unfold rapidly as characters dressed as something speak fluently in an incomprehensible language. Kurachi says that in this exhibition, he wants to re-conceive his works—over a decade of production—as 'a single gigantic building (work) that continues to be extended in the present progressive tense.'
