A row of cherry trees stretching about 2 kilometers along the promenade by the Fukurogawa River flowing through the center of Tottori City. About 230 cherry trees, mainly Yoshino cherries, are planted. When it gets dark, paper lanterns are lit, allowing visitors to enjoy the night cherry blossoms; the fantastical scenery reflected on the river surface is impressive (for details about illumination and lantern lighting, refer to the official 'Tottori City Tourism Site').
