This exhibition focuses on the works of Émile Gallé, a glass artist representing Art Nouveau at the end of the 19th century, and introduces the beauty embodied in glass art and the history of the techniques that support it. Along with works by Émile Gallé, known for poetic decorations inspired by nature such as plants and insects, works using the glass technique "pâte de verre" (a technique of packing glass powder into a mold and firing it) employed by later artists such as Argy-Rousseau and Amalric Walter are displayed, showing how glass expression has been inherited and developed.
