Omura Park, one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, sees about 20 kinds of cherry blossoms, including Yoshino cherries and the nationally designated natural monument 'Omurazakura', bloom one after another from late March to mid-April. From late May to early June, about 300,000 iris flowers reach their peak, and you can also enjoy evening illuminations. Additionally, at the Urami no Taki Natural Flower Garden in the Nodake area, about 6,000 rhododendrons of approximately 40 varieties bloom in profusion from late March to late April. The 'Omura Flower Festival' is the collective name for this entire period.
