The magnificent weeping cherry tree, estimated to be about 500 years old, is a large tree about 10 meters tall with a trunk circumference of about 5 meters, and is designated as a prefectural natural monument. Although it stands as a single tree, its branches spread about 15 meters east-west and about 22 meters north-south, giving it a particularly imposing presence. During the flowering period, it is illuminated every day from 18:00 to 20:00, and the night cherry blossoms, which offer a different atmosphere from the daytime, are worth seeing. [Illumination for 2026 is undecided]
